1. About us

These terms apply to locksmith services provided by Mark 1 Locksmiths, 6 Ascot Road, Gravesend, Kent DA12 5AL. Registered in England & Wales - Companies House no. [COMPANIES HOUSE NO.] · VAT no. [VAT NO.] · ICO reg. [ICO REG. NO.].

2. Quotes & pricing

Phone quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. The final price is confirmed on site before any work begins. There is no callout charge.

3. Consumer rights

Where you are a consumer, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 - services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

4. Right to cancel

For non urgent off premises bookings you have a 14 day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start emergency work within that period, you may be charged for work completed before cancelling.

5. Guarantee

Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. Hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty (typically 1–10 years).

6. Insurance & Guarantee

Public liability insurance: £5,000,000 underwritten by QBE (policy no. 00021132TRA). Certificate available on request. Every job carries a 12 month workmanship guarantee.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
